Bihar Election 2025

In this exclusive interview with Witty Chokha, our team speaks to Junaid Rivi, Block President of Jan Suraaj in Bairia, Bihar, to uncover the pressing realities shaping Bihar’s politics and governance. Rivi strongly criticizes the current NDA government led by JD(U) and BJP, calling it a façade where real power lies with bureaucrats and party insiders instead of leaders accountable to the people.

According to Rivi, Bihar has been systematically weakened over decades. Education, employment, healthcare, women’s safety, and industrial growth all reflect decline rather than progress. He highlights how the lack of opportunities has forced Bihar’s youth into large-scale migration to Gulf countries and beyond, with no serious government effort to connect skilled workers to global markets.

Presenting an alternative, Rivi emphasizes the Jan Suraaj model under Prashant Kishor (PK). Once India’s most sought-after political strategist, PK has shifted from making politicians win to ensuring that Bihar’s 13 crore citizens emerge victorious through transparent governance, grassroots empowerment, and structural reforms. Jan Suraaj has already conducted detailed constituency-level surveys to design targeted employment and development strategies, giving it a data-backed edge over traditional parties.

Rivi also reveals that support for Jan Suraaj is cutting across party lines, with silent backing even from members within NDA and INDIA bloc. For many, PK is the first leader since Gandhi to walk village-to-village, directly listening to people’s concerns.
