“No Bridge, No Vote”: Bihar’s Marjadi Village Boycotts Election 2025

In Marjadi village, West Champaran, there’s a river but no bridge, a school only till Class 5, and no hospital. Every monsoon, the village is cut off children risk their lives, and women give birth at home. After decades of broken promises, 2,500 villagers have declared “No Bridge, No Vote” ahead of Bihar Election 2025, demanding dignity and justice.
